Rasmus Bach
Rasmus (also known as "RAZ") and I dated from March 2016 to May 2019, and we got married on June 1st, 2019. See our wedding photos.

Our story began in college in Durango, Colorado back in 2016. We were both Division II athletes at the time. We knew each other through athletics and had mutual friends. I was also the campus sports anchor, and Rasmus was a star basketball player.
It was only a matter of time, after a few one-on-one interviews and feature stories, the two of us became inseparable! Opposites attract, as they say, I have a tendency to be the outgoing and unpredictable, and Ras is grounded and down to earth. “A Hawk Match Made in Heaven,” was tweeted at us after the Durango Herald got a hold of our engagement story in our small town; our college mascot was the Skyhawk.
Rasmus is from Denmark originally, and speaks fluent Danish. He grew up in Australia, where his parents played European handball in the 2000 Olympics. And he later went to high school in Austin, Texas.
We are grateful to have the opportunity to travel the world together. You can follow Raz's basketball journey here on my blog.
